I'm from Yaroslavl, a small town in Russia, three hours from Moscow. I'm 33 and have been on hormone therapy for a year. I want to look like a girl but don't wish to undergo surgery. I've developed small breasts, but it's not enough for me to feel comfortable socially. Living as a transgender person in Russia is challenging, and I often feel lonely.I have a degree in the history of arts and civilizations, but I can't work at school due to my transition. I fear that finding love and a future here is hopeless. I long for freedom, new friendships, and fresh experiences. I want to break free from my current life and discover new meanings.
